Our Process

At Building Associates, the process of new home construction, renovations or remodels is always customer-driven. Our team is highly qualified and professionally handles all the details involved with new home construction, but that doesn’t mean the customer is not involved. On the contrary, the customer is the most important part of the process.

After an initial meeting with a new client, where we discuss their vision we create a project summary listing the work required in each phase of the home construction, addition or remodel. We then consult with the customer on a regular basis, through personal meetings or email using the project summary as a checklist to update them on the progress of the project. The customer’s attendance on site at various stages of construction will be required. Electrical walk through, framing walk through and other inspections require are needed to insure complete satisfaction with the various stages of construction.

As a general contractor, Building Associates works for the customer to ensure all the details of a construction project are accomplished smoothly and on schedule relieving you of the burden. We coordinate every step – everything from building, water and sewer permits, to design and engineering, to hiring and supervising superior subcontractors, to maintaining a clean worksite.

Service after construction is complete is also paramount to our customer-driven process. We provide clients with a home owner’s manual, secured in a three-ring notebook, containing warranty and maintenance information for all the materials, appliances, and other fixtures used in their project. And our staff is always available after construction to assist clients with any issues they may have with construction, manufacturers, or suppliers. Because your home is the most valuable investment you will make.
